After spending the past few years building relationships and advocating for 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion ‘behind the scenes’ through political activism and organizing, Richard was looking for an opportunity to uplift and empower his community in a more direct and public-facing capacity.

A lover of queer art and storytelling, father of one (feline), and Hamilton’s most ‘mid’ Pokémon trainer, Richard joins Pride Hamilton focused on finding new community partners, growing our small business ecosystem, and building meaningful opportunities for corporate sponsors.
