Kasey holds a Master of Arts in Social Justice and Community Engagement and has spent over ten years working in sexual and gender-based violence across research, shelter, counselling, post-secondary, and community coordination settings. She is committed to intersectional practice that takes seriously the systems shaping the lives of marginalized and queer communities.

She currently serves as Community Development Coordinator at the Sexual Assault Centre Brant, as Coordinator of the Halton Violence Prevention Council, and as a researcher at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Kasey lives in Hamilton with her partner, their four cats, and a tiny chihuahua named Dolly.
