Through Jennet’s career in human resources, she has consistently worked to improve inclusion within organizations, advocating for equitable and respectful workplaces where people can show up as their authentic selves.
Jennet’s work has naturally created opportunities to champion inclusion, particularly for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. In previous roles, she has taken an active approach to addressing gaps in organizational culture - - most notably by advocating for Pride recognition in workplaces that celebrated many observances but had overlooked Pride Month. For Jennet, inclusion is not optional; it is essential to building environments where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported.
As a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, Jennet is deeply committed to ensuring that Pride Hamilton creates events and spaces that visibly demonstrate support, love, and belonging. She believes representation and celebration are powerful tools for connection and resilience within the community.
